 * Hey!
 * I found your plugin but I couldn’t translate it properly in translate.wordpress.
   org. Please make your plugin and I collaborate to translate it in Spanish. That
   would make your plugin more universal.
 * WordPress has documentation to make it properly:
    [https://developer.wordpress.org/plugins/internationalization/how-to-internationalize-your-plugin/](https://developer.wordpress.org/plugins/internationalization/how-to-internationalize-your-plugin/)
 * Thanks!

 * Hey [@davidperez](https://wordpress.org/support/users/davidperez/) ,
 * WP Fusion is already translated into es_MX (Spanish / Mexico). You’ll find the.
   pot file in /wp-fusion-lite/languages/wp-fusion.pot
 * It hasn’t been updated in a couple of years so it may need a refresh 🙂
 * If you make any progress let us know and we’ll get your translation included
   in the next update.
 * Thanks!

 * Hello, but you have to make it translatable in translate.wordpress.org. You need
   to use the slug wp-fusion-lite as language text domain in order to make translatable
   the strings. The community will make the rest.
 * Regards.

 * Ah, I see what you mean.
 * I’m afraid we won’t be able to do that. Our textdomain is “wp-fusion”, and our
   primary focus is on the paid version of the plugin, which has many more users
   than the free version. The “wp-fusion” textdomain is already in use in 811 places
   across 112 PHP files, so it would be hard to change.
 * As well, the paid version already has translations with Spanish, Dutch, and Portuguese.
   If we changed the textdomain we would lose those translations, and those translators
   have already graciously donated their time.
 * In retrospect we probably should have made the free version of the plugin have
   the slug “wp-fusion” as well so it would work with translate.wordpress.org, but
   it’s too late to change it now.
 * We do have a .pot file in the plugin files and you can easily create your own
   translations via Poedit, or update the existing es_MX translation 🙏. If you
   do come up with a translation file we’d be happy to incorporate it into the plugin.
   Sorry I don’t have a better answer than that.

 * [@davidperez](https://wordpress.org/support/users/davidperez/) ,
 * I’ve done some more research on this… It looks like it may be possible to convert
   our existing translations and upload them into translate.wordpress.org, and then
   let the community maintain them independently using the new slug.
 * We don’t have an update scheduled for a couple of months but I’ll try and get
   that change made and ping you when the next version is out.
 * Thanks for the nudge! 🙂
 * Jack

 * Yes, You won’t loose translations.
 * Yes, tell me when you will have it.
 * Regards.
