# make.wordpress.org/core RSS feed broken

 * _I realize this probably isn’t the right place to post this, but I couldn’t find
   a more appropriate one. If anyone knows of a better one, please let me know._

 * The RSS feed for make.wordpress.org/core hasn’t been working for me lately; my
   RSS reading (Liferea) is saying that there were errors parsing the feed.
 * I opened it in a text editor and noticed there was a character encoding issue
   on line 337:
 *     ```
       <dc:creator>Helen Hou-Sand\ED</dc:creator>
       ```
   
 * I changed my local copy to
 *     ```
       <dc:creator>Helen Hou-Sandi</dc:creator>
       ```
   
 * And Liferea parsed it without error.

 * Looks like the error you;re referencing is due to the author’s name on one of
   the posts.

 * Someone is going to try a quick fix by amending the display name for that author.
   Can you try the feed again in a few hours?
