Hello @pavefe,
Please reinstall the Security plugin with the “Complete Deactivation” option.
1. Enter the Security by Cleantalk plugin settings. (WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Security by Cleantalk -> General settings tab)
2. Check the “Complete deactivation” at the bottom of the page and save changes.
3. Deactivate the plugin on the “Plugins” page in WordPress Dashboard and delete it.
4. Reinstall the Security plugin: https://cleantalk.org/help/install-security
5. Proceed to the plugin’s settings, insert the access key (See item 1.), and run the scan.
Does it work?
My apologies for the delay in responding, I had to move all of my client sites to a new host.
I have followed the steps and yes the malware scanner is running now.
Thank you for your help.
