 * Hello, I need help finding infected files. I have already found 10 files that
contained malware. Only online it still indicates that there is malware in the
website. Does anyone know of a tool for WordPress that also indicates WHICH file
   is infected.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fmalware-tool%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Try Install the plugin [Wordfence plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordfence)
and do full scan of your site.
 * Also, carefully follow [this guide](https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-my-site-was-hacked/).
 * When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of [the recommended security measures](https://wordpress.org/support/article/hardening-wordpress/)
and [start backing up your site](https://wordpress.org/support/article/wordpress-backups/).

 * I have indeed installed this plugin but it doesn’t really show which files are
currently infected. It only tells postfixadmin… that’s something from the template.
So I think the template newspaper is the cause. I am going to replace this with
another template and hope that the malware will also disappear.

 * FYI, your currently used theme could not be found in the wordpress.org/themes/
   directory.
 * If you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their
official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community,
and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people
   to those official locations.

 * Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would
not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is
one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors.
The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product. **As the
developer is aware, commercial products are [not supported in these forums](https://make.wordpress.org/support/trouble/section-1-getting-started/what-is-not-supported).**
