Managing orders by vendor

Hi. I am just about to finalize a multi-vendor marketplace based on WCFM. I was making several test orders and I just found out the following situation and I really need a solution.

Example:

A customer is making an order with products from 2 different vendors, and each vendor has his own shipping method.

Each vendor is able to see his own part of the order in his dashboard and is able to manage the order status.

The problem is that when one of the vendors is changing the order status let’s say to completed, also the other vendor’s order will be changed to complete. This is a problem as the other vendor maybe did not fulfil yet his order and in this case will be completed too early and by somebody else.

My question is: there is any solution for each vendor to be able to manage their own part of the order, individually without interfering with each other?

Or there is any solution to be able to have separate payments for each vendor on the same check-out page? Maybe this way 2 separate orders can be created and not one single order with products from 2 vendors with their own shipping methods.

In my scenario, the admin is charging the customer on behalf of the vendors, then later will redistribute the payments to them.

I really need a solution for this situation. Thank you in advance.
