# Mandatory fields problem

 * Using this plugin, I removed from mandatory some fields, like address and city,
   on default country it works, as soon as the user changes country, these field
   become mandatory again. Any idea why?

 * The requirements of fields: Country, State/County and Postcode/ZIP are controlled
   by WooCoomerce, you can notice this information in the tooltip in the settings
   page.
 * If you experience this issue for fields: address and city, it’s probably related
   to the issue with WooCommerce 4.0: [https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/25854](https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/25854)
   
   As far as I know, this problem should be resolved in the next release WooCommerce.
