# Mandatory input issue

 * (At least) Since 2.6.4, the mandatory fields in conditional groups are not enforced
   anymore.
 * See below an extract of our code. Till recently the **gewenst_subthema** selection
   was mandatory and enforced. But recently that changed. So we are now getting 
   answers without the mandatory fields.

   The only reason I can think of that this isn’t working, is that you might be

 * Tx Jules, you were right, this was the issue. I changed this (and changed the
   email layout then as well) and now all works as expected. Thanks a lot !
