I would preferer to not have timer just mandatory to answer but no time limit, maybe future request.
You can always set the timer to something super high, and then hide the timer with CSS.
Maybe a future request, but to see average on a quiz in the admin panel and even possible to add this information when a user has completed the quiz so the can see what other in average had?
Check out the addons page. There is a free Save Results Light and paid Pro addon that will save the results of quizzes. The free and light version will not save the quiz takers name unless they are logged in, but you will be able to see what users are scoring on quizzes. (note: neither will show an “average” score).
Possible to export the quiz for backup? (I hade a incident where a answer disappeared on every question (was 4 answers and became 3) don’t know how to reproduce but a backup possibility would be nice.
HD Quiz is fully compatible with WordPress’ native import/export tool 🙂 From you admin dash, go to tools > export, and then select “Questions”.
Would it be possible to use this addon also as product recommendation. for example we are a thai restaurant and depending of answer if like noddle, chicken and lemon could recommend pad thai. Maybe a future request or another plugin for it.
Technically you could do this, but it would be kind of like forcing a square peg into a round hole. This type of “quiz” is more suited to those personality-type style quizzes – you know – the ones that are like “Which Marvel Character Are You?”. For this, I’d recommend trying a different plugin that specializes in this.
EDIT: Re: facebook translate. Unfortunately, translating this is not as easy as it is with things like buttons since the content is dynamic. I plan to build a system for this in the future, but for now, you’ll need to edit HD Quiz directly to change it.
The file to edit is hd-quiz/includes/js/hdq_script.js line 917 allll the way at the bottom. You will see quote: "I scored " + hdq_score + " on the " + HDQ.VARS.name + " quiz. Can you beat me?",
