# Manifest theme problems!!!

 * Hiya everyone,
 * I have installed the manifest minimalist theme for my blog.
 *  I’d like to put an opt-in box in the footer of the blog however it is not a 
   function the theme comes with but it does support it. i followed the instructions
   on WordPress support and entered the code in the function php file that allows
   for widgets but i cant get it to work so i can install my opt-in box using mail
   chimp, I came across a couple of websites using the same theme that have opt-
   in boxes so i’m sure it can be done i just don’t know how.
 * I am a complete novice to WordPress and have no experience coding etc can someone
   please walk me through this as i’m at my wits end having spent the last 5 hours
   trying to work it out
