Please check if there is a file named dup-manual-extract__[HASH] exists in the directory /dup-installer/. If the file doesn’t exist, you need to remove all the files and directories and extract the archive manually then restart the backup restoration.
In order for the installer to figure out if the extraction is manual it checks if the file /dup-installer/dup-manual-extract__[HASH] exists.
If this file doesn’t exist after the manual backup extraction, this indicates that the backup archive is corrupted. Please recreate the backup again and retry the backup restoration.
