# Manually approve users

 * Is there a way to have users need a manual approval when using this plugin? Right
   now it is sending an automatic email with a password to enter the site. Seems
   like it kind of defeats the purpose of having a private site. Thank you!

 * Good point. The plugin does not actually do the User Registration, or Login for
   that matter, leaving all of that up to WordPress.
 * WordPress does not offer manual approval of user self-registrations, but plugins
   do. I haven’t actually used any of the plugins, but I’ll see what other Private
   Site plugin users have said.

 * I would suggest looking at this plugin:

 * Although I have not tested the User Registration Approval process within it, 
   I have worked with it before to make the Private Site plugin “aware” of Theme
   My Login’s special needs.
 * Please let me know, in this thread, how it works out. I’m marking this thread
   as Resolved, but that does not mean I won’t be watching it if you have further
   comments or questions.
