 * Can anyone help with switching from automatic to manual wordpress updates? I 
   have no idea why my site is being updated automatically, I can’t remember ever
   setting this up, and I would like to be able to do it manually. Thanks in advance:)

 * Thanks! The reason I wanted to switch to manual updates is that some people advise
   against updating to the new version of wordpress for several weeks. But according
   to the link you provided most sites will update automatically. So maybe I should
   leave it the way it is as this is what wordpress recommends. Do you know if it’s
   common practice to switch to manual?
