    Someone posted this question two months ago, but no new 
   plugin updates have been released yet.
 * Therefore, is there an alternative method where I can manually add votes to a
   poll? Maybe through the database?

 * You can add votes manually by going to Results for your poll and from there to“
   View Votes”.
 * On this screen there is an option called “Add Votes” that you can use to add 
   votes to your poll.
