# Map attachment

 * I’ve seen in the Google SearchOn event that you (Google) want to use web stories
   to complement local results. I think (and I have been asking you for a long time)
   that it would be essential to be able to add map attachments inside web stories,
   in order to show local information in a useful way.
 * In fact, there are already other tools that incorporate this function, as shown
   in the attached screenshot.
 * Do you plan to implement this? Please?

   for getting in touch. I can see that you opened a GitHub issue on this last year
   [here](https://github.com/GoogleForCreators/web-stories-wp/issues/8881). We currently
   have no plans to implement this in the near future but as noted by Pascal if 
   that changes then we will certainly update the issue.
