 * Hi,
    When I go to -> Settings -> Map Defaults -> Default basemap for new markers/
   layers I see 19 different default basemaps. However, when I’m in a newly created
   layer, I can only choose from 10. I understand that the ones for which I don’t
   haven an API (Bing) won’t be displayed, but that should still result in 16 options
   being shown. Can you explain why there is a difference? The issue I’m having
   that after some trial and error I found out that my favorite default baselayer
   is “Map Box 1”. However, I already have a few layers created, and had chosen “
   Stamen Watercolor”. I have no idea now how I can change the layers to use the
   layer “Map Box 1”. Would be great if you could help me out here. Cheers, Michaela

 * Hi Michaela,
    please have a look at the section “Available basemaps in controlbox”
   to select which of the basemap should be actually available when creating a new
   map. To change the basemap of an existing map, please open the map on backend
   and hover the layer controlbox in the top right corner of the map, select the
   new basemap you want to use, save the map, finished. I hope it is clearer now
   how the plugin works (FYI: we are working on a guide for new users, anyway this
   will still take some time, so I ask for your patience here) best, Robert

 * Hi Robert,
    Thanks a lot for the hint. It’s not a big thing, but it would make
   working with your plugin easier if you could make sure that names are synchronized.
   E.g., “MapBox” in the “Available basemaps in controlbox” back-end is called “
   Blue Marble Topography” in the layer settings and on the front-end. Maybe in
   your next update 😉 Cheers, Michaela

 * Hi Michaela,
    the names for the basemaps can be changed at Settings / Map Defaults/
   Default names for basemaps. best, Robert
