Map isn’t showing right

Hi!

There’s text “For development purposes only” over the map. I have added Google Api Key to theme options Misc Settings but it doesn’t work still.

I also tried WP Google Maps plugin which I have used a lot to add one free map to website, but there’s on this theme same problem, “For development purposes only” over the map. It has worked always fine on other websites before.

I realized that also on Virtue theme demo has nowadays the same problem, what wasn’t there earlier.

This is actually due to a change with google maps API that requires you to add billing information.

I think it’s pretty ridiculous that they require billing information for a free API, but that’s google’s decision at the moment.

The theme developer is hoping to add a workaround for Virtue that’s already a part of Ascend theme, but for now, you’ll have to update your API billing info with google:

An update has just been pushed for the kadence toolkit that should show the map as an iframe when no API has been added.

I updated Kadence Toolkit plugin but it didn’t help. Should I do something more? I haven’t add my credit card information to Google account yet.

It worked when I removed Google Maps Api from Theme Options.
