# Mapping to WordPress.com

 * Ok, I will try to make this make sense.
 * I have had a wordpress.com site for two years. I decided this year to upgrade
   to a hosted .com site. I used GoDaddy.com and uploaded WordPress and everything
   worked great. I added plugins, changed the theme, the whole shebang.
 * Then, I tried to map my .com to my .wordpress.com. At first everything went seamlessly,
   except that now I can’t access my .com dashboard. Everything reverts back to 
   the wordpress.com dashboard. My new theme, plugins and everything are gone. Did
   I not do something right? Please help!

 * If I am reading right it sounds like you’ve just pointed your new domain (the
   godaddy .com url) at your old wordpress.com site – this would explain why you
   are now logging into your old site via your old domain.
 * The simple fix should be just to point the domain back at your new site – in 
   other words, just undo the mapping that you did earlier.
