# Markdown Settings not Available – WordPress 4.2.1 Plugin Version 1.1.2

 * Good morning,
 * I have tried to activate the wp-markdown plugin, but I cannot seem to obtain 
   the settings page as described under the “Installation” instructions.
 * I installed the plugin directly from Plugins Menu of my WordPress site as opposed
   to the suggested method of uploading the folder to the plugins directory. Still,
   I expected that this should work just fine.
 * Am I missing something important or have others had similar issues?

 * I was successfully able to add the plugin on WordPress 4.2.3, plugin version 
   1.5.1. The settings page is under ‘Settings -> Writing’, and a few checkboxes
   exist there for where to enable Markdown for.
 * So far I’ve loved it!
