 * My front-ed layout is a content-sidebar layout so I am not using the wide or
   full widths for this block. I use the stadnard width on the block settings. But
   when I switch to masonry layout, I loose the regular width on the block settings.
   I only see wide and full widths. My way around is place a gallery block, select
   the regular width, then convert into Masonry block. Only then will I get masonry
   layout that is two columns and fits inside my content area and does not overflow
   into the sidebar.

 * Hey Clayton! Does your theme support the wide alignments via add_theme_support?
   Upon activating the Masonry block, it defaults to the wide alignment, only if
   your theme supports it. You can still turn off the wide alignment though.
 * Do you mind testing with the latest version (1.0.5) that I released this evening?
   I’ll run a few as well and see if I can replicate this.
 * Thanks for the feedback!

 * I’m running a genesis child theme that supports wide and full layout options.
 * I am seeing the wide alignment when activating the block. That works fine. My
   concern is going the other way. I want the masonry block to have the align center
   option so that the post content does not bleed over its container width and into
   my sidebar. Right now, all I see for masonry is wide and full, no align center.
 * If you activate masonry, then convert to WP core gallery, hit align center, then
   convert back to masonry, it does not default to align wide, it keeps the align
   center. That is my work around.

 * Hey Clayton, thanks for that feedback. Have you tried simply clicking off the
   wide alignment setting – instead of setting it to center? The block displays
   centered if there is no wide or full alignment set.

 * Yes. That works…lol. Didn’t realize the block default was align center when nothing
   else was selected.

 * Good to hear [@claytoncollie](https://wordpress.org/support/users/claytoncollie/)!
 * Yup, there’s a few nuances like such which take a bit of learning. Thanks for
   reaching out, and let me know if you run into anything else. 👍
