 * If you want to send yourself a “New user registration” notification for an existing
   user account, this is the perfect solution.
 * It doesn’t actually send anything to the user but why would you want to do that?

 * What’s with the sarcasm? It’s a free plugin and it works for other people.
 * Sounds like an SMTP issue or another plugin has replaced the “wp_new_user_notification”
   function
