# Mastodon json syntax error

   Hope all is well with you. Great Nippon shots, btw 😉Anyway, when adding
   a service for Mastodon, after filling out all the fields, clicking `Verify settings
   ´ results in`"Error: json_decode error: Syntax error"`.WordPress debug log shows
   nada…On top of that, in the Basic Settings screen, I can only set the Mastodon
   service as default, even though I also have created a Faceook/Instagram service.
   Please advice.

   Decided I actually don’t really need this plugin.Facebook/Instagram App creation
   is just too much of a hassle, on the Meta side, not a problem of the plugin. 
   Marked as resolved.
