 * Hello all,
 * I just tried to download WP and got the following error.
 * You have reached the maximum of allowed MySQL databases. Fantastico can not proceed
   with installations until you upgrade your account or reduce the number of used
   databases (for example by uninstalling a script).
 * The website I have, [http://www.HisCenter.com](http://www.HisCenter.com) has
   been up and running for some 8 years.
    I used Microsoft FrontPage originally.
   Now, after 8 years, I’m ready to go in and update the website but can’t because
   of the error message (I’m guessing). How do I fix this?

 * Oh, but I think I did download the WP 3.0.1 and have been seemingly entering
   information and picking a theme etc. When I then tried to view the “new” look
   at the website, still the old one came up. I’m still learning where to go within
   WP to look at the webpages as I design them too. Don’t know that either yet.

 * I don’t see where on the “Dashboard” where I can go and preview my website either…

 * The error you saw out of fantastico is related to your hosting, not to WordPress.
   It means it’s trying to create a new database and failing because you’re at your
   limit. You need to speak to your hosting provider or free up a database.

 * mrmist, done and done… but still can’t see any of the work done in WP.
    Question:
   Is there some problem with FrontPage being the original builder of the website
   that is preventing WP from now taking over as the newer website builder? Also,
   I can’t seem to find a “preview” button on the “Dashboard” of WP or anywhere
   else for that matter. I also can’t seem to find a “publish” button like FrontPage
   has… maybe that is the problem too?

 * That’s problem. Your original site’s `index.html` file is being used over WordPress
   `
   index.php` file. Remove or rename the `index.html` file, either via [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients)
   or your hosting provider’s file manager, and all should be fine.

 * Thank you James… my “hosting” site has been contacted with this new information.
