# May I reprogram wordpress?

 * I know wordpress is licensed under GPL V2 or later. This license allow modification,
   redistribution etc. But nothing seems to be declared about reprogramming. Can
   someone tell me whether I have the right to **reprogram **(and perhaps redistribute
   too) wordpress for another platform or not?
