# MC Plugin doesn't automatically update interest groups.

 * Whenever I delete or create interest groups in MailChimp, I would then have to
   log into WordPress MC Plugin and click UPDATE LIST in order for the lists to 
   refresh/update the new interest groups.
 * Is there a way to have the MC plugin update the interest groups automatically?

 * Hey Samjco,
 * Thanks for writing in. Because of how the plugin works, there isn’t a way for
   the plugin to update the interest groups automatically. When the plugin is set
   up, it pulls information in order to determine how to set up the form, but after
   that doesn’t pull information from MailChimp, instead pushing information when
   necessary to signup. It’s essentially producing a static HTML form rather than
   running something consistently in the background, and the Update List option 
   triggers a quick refresh of the HTML form much like when the plugin was first
   set up while having the internal data in the plugin update to match.
 * Any time a group or field is changed in the list, it will be necessary to trigger
   an update to the form, just as if our Embedded Form code was being used. ([http://eepurl.com/gOGN](http://eepurl.com/gOGN))
