# Media Issues: Posts & Header

 * I have a brand new WP page. [http://www.expatdad.ch](http://www.expatdad.ch).
   I already use WP for two other pages with no problems (but with a different host).
   On the new install, I immediately had problems with images. Thumbnails did not
   show, uploads for image header didn’t show, etc. so after a bunch of fiddling
   I decided to start over.
 * So I created a new DB on my server, uninstalled and then reinstalled, and whoop,
   I have the same problems:
 * 1) when inserting images to blog posts they do not show up, yet the image clearly
   uploaded as when you go to media library the filename is listed (not the thumbnail)
   and you can see the image when you click “edit”.
 * 2) when inserting image to header, it does not show up nor allow cropping, yet
   the image also is listed in the media library and can also be seen when you click“
   edit”.
 * I’m assuming I probably have to contact my provider to see if there is some setting
   I’m missing, but if anyone has ideas before I do that, I’d be grateful.

 * It looks like you are using Minimatica theme – and there is a known issue with
   the theme and WP3.5 – this may help you:

 * I meant to add that these didn’t work right from the start with Twenty-12, 11&
   10. Nor in Minimatica with onedesign fixes.

 * Okay, do you have any plugins activated? Make sure you’ve cleared any and all
   browser, site and server caches. Also try another browser. (I know you’ve likely
   done all these – just covering the bases to rule out the most obvious.) If still
   not working, try the fix from this thread:

 * Let’s see if switching back to Minimatica and adding the onedesign fixes breaks
   it again…
