# mediaelement-css has invalid code, WordPress video player

 * Hello
 * I am using the WordPress video player to embed a video in my blog.
    When I run
   a check at [http://validator.w3.org](http://validator.w3.org) I receive the following
   warning:
 * “Element link is missing required attribute property.”
 * I think it is due to the way the css file is linked to. Can anyone help?

 * I was also getting validation errors on a site with YouTube videos until I started
   using this plugin: [WP YouTube Lyte](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-youtube-lyte/)

 * I will look into it. Also I am looking into FV Flowplayer.
