# media.php error?

 * I’m getting this warning multiple times on several of my pages on my site: [http://scidangelsforlife.com](http://scidangelsforlife.com).
   I first tried to disable all plug-ins. That didn’t help. I then changed the theme
   to the new default twenty sixteen. That didn’t help. I then tried a soft reinstall
   of WordPress from the dashboard: version 4.4.1. That didn’t help either. I attempted
   to ftp to the file media.php and replace it with the old version from the backup
   and the entire site would no longer load, so I had to replace it with the one
   that is causing this error.
 * I’ve searched here and not seen anything more than the suggestions for doing 
   what I’ve already done. Same when I google the error, except that I see that 
   many other wordpress sites are experiencing the same error.
 * Does anyone know what to do to repair the file?

 * I’ve figured out that only pages with pictures in the main section are affected,
   if this helps anyone come up with a solution.

 * The site is not using SSL, so I don’t think this is the same issue, but thanks

 * I found in the media section that there were errors showing around related to
   some of the picture files. Many of these files have been on the site for several
   years, so they are not new. If I deleted those files and re-uploaded new copies
   of them the error messages went away. I think it had something to do with the
   resizing of the images by wordpress? Does this make sense to anyone?

 * Removing the syntax ‘wp-image-nnn’ from the img src= statement seems to clear
   the error and not impact anything as far as I can tell.

 * Update: On my site it seems that the error only appears for some images – they
   must have ‘wp-image-nnn’ and be full size.
