 * Hi
 * We like and enjoy this plugin.
    However, in the past few weeks we’ve been having
   an issue on our site, where when we “quick edit” from the posts list page, we
   get the following error: `PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes
   exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /html/wp-includes/meta.php on line
   830`
 * We ran the P3 plugin, and found that Responsive Menu uses a lot of memory:
    The
   average memory is **112.63 MB** with all plugins on, and less than half when
   we turn off Responsive Menu: **45.88 MB**. (It also takes an extremely long time
   to load, compared to the other plugins:
 * > Responsive Menu – 0.7320 sec – 64.25%
 * , but our main issue is the memory).
 * What could be causing this high use of memory, and how can we reduce it?
 * Thank you

 * Hey there,
 * Thats strange as I run all my releases through that same plugin and have extremely
   low usage on all my sites.
 * Ill see if I can find any reason for it – it maybe a specific conflict with another
   plugin or theme or something, it’s quite hard to trackdown.
 * What is your current PHP memory limit and can you increase it?

 * Hi
 * Thank you very much for looking into it. I’ll be glad to provide any other info.
 * According to the plans offered on out hosting, our current memory limit is 64MB.
   I’m able to increase it via wp-config and that’s what I did when I discovered
   the problem, but I don’t think it’s right to leave it that way more than temporarily
   🙂
 * Thanks

 * Hey Lea,
 * I wouldn’t see any problem increasing that, 64mb is quite small especially for
   a site with lots of plugins, custom theme etc.
 * Ill look into memory usage for you though.

 * Hey Lea,
 * Are you still having any issues with this? Also, did you try any of the optimisation
   techniques advised on the below page:

 * Hi Peter,
 * Thank you for getting back to me.
    I’ve asked my client to check if he’s still
   having issues, and will get back to you.
 * Thank you for the link to the recommended options. I wasn’t aware of them, and
   now I implemented the first. Thanks!

 * It seems that the issues have been resolved, and running the P3 plugin we see
   a decrease in memory usage – to 36.89 MB. Yay!
    Was there a specific fix in the
   new version?

 * Hey Lea,
 * There wasn’t any specific fixes, it could just be the optimisations you implemented.
 * Glad its better now.
 * Peter
