 * Hi, I am using NextGen 2.1.15, php 5.5.30 on hostpapa.
    I wanted to use NextGen
   but I inevitably get memory allocation errors like these :
 * _[22-Nov-2015 20:46:41 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728
   bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 14868 bytes) in /home/dufra359/public\_html/
   michael/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati\_nextgen/modules/
   nextgen\_data/package.module.nextgen\_data.php on line 4155
 * HostPapa tells me that it is your module causing the issue.
    Mod_rewrite Apache
   is enabled and the php safe mode if off, full config here : [http://dufranne.be/phpinfo.php](http://dufranne.be/phpinfo.php)
 * Can you help me ?

 * [@wombatbe](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wombatbe/) – here are the settings
   in part WordPress lists in their requirements, see: [https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/](https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/)
   and that we suggest you have in place:
 * – PHP 5.6 (WordPress recommended)
 * – MySQL 5.5 (WordPress recommended)
 * – GD Library enabled
 * – in the php.ini file, memory_allowed is set to 256MB (or at least 128MB)
 * – PHP Safe Mode OFF
 * – on your server, the directory /wp-content + all subdirectories have 755 permissions
 * – On your Dashboard – under Settings >> Permalinks, set to ‘post name’. If Post
   Name does not work or if it causes any issue, have your hosting provider check
   if mod_rewrite is enabled in your .htaccess file.
 * With those in place, that should help resolve the error you’re seeing.
