# Memory Limit Issue

 * We are trying to install wpForo version 1.5.4 and upon activation of the plugin,
   the server throws a 500 error and completely shuts down. It seems to hit the 
   php memory limit instantly.
 * In the php log, there is this error logged:
 * [17-Nov-2018 21:47:19 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 
   bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1052672 bytes) in /home/xxx-lms/www/wp-lms/
   wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 271

   bytes) in /home/xxx-lms/www/wp-lms/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 195
 * We are using WP version 4.9.8
 * Can you advise on what might be going wrong? Please let me know if there is any
   more information you need to solve this issue.

   wpForo installation on this WordPress? How many users you have in this website?

 * Thank you for your quick reply. We are installing this on a test site, which 
   is a copy of our live site.
 * We installed an instance before on the test site, but then wiped the server clean
   of the entire wp site and then started with a fresh copy of our live site, which
   has never had wpForo installed on it.
 * We have 74 users total. This is a membership site, so we have Ultimate Member
   installed. We are also using Asgaros forum, which we will migrate over to wpForo
   once we can get it working.

 * Please deactivate Ultimate Members Plugin, then activate wpForo. If it works,
   navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features Tab and set “No” the “Replace
   Forum Profile with Ultimate Member Profile” option. Then activate back the UM
   plugin.
    When this option is ON, there is some conflict with current version 
   of UM. This issue is already fixed, we’re releasing the update in a few days.

 * I did this and it worked fine. Thank you. Once you do the update, then at that
   time will we be able to have the “Replace Forum Profile with Ultimate Member 
   Profile” set to on?
