 * Using the latest WP & JigoShop – it shows the standard error message “JigoShop
   requires 64M…” and thinks the site has only 40MB memory – though it has 128MB
   assigned.
    Disabled & removed the plugin, cleared any caching, problem persists.

 * Hi,
 * It’s very easy to fix, you need to access your FTP host or install miwoftp plugin
   to access the files on server. Open wp-config file (it is located at root directory
   of your site files) and add the following code line define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’,’
   64M’); see the screen below:

 * Sorry for the slow reply…
 * I am aware of the htaccess hack, but my issue is that the site already has 128MB
   or more allocated to it (other apps read this). It just seems Jigoshop (and as
   it happens Woocommerce) don’t recognize this.
    It didn’t seem to affect anything
   running, but then I only had a single item added to test it.
 * Another, likely unrelated, issue, is that I don’t see anywhere to add a price
   in the item editor.

 * FYI, just tried the latest version – price option appears fine (not sure what
   happened in the previous)
 * Memory glitch still present.

 * Hi,
 * I think you misunderstand me 🙂 you do not need to hack .htaccess file but just
   to set a “wp-config.php” file at your site root directory. Do you have an FTP
   access? If so, go to “your-site-root-folder/” and open the file ‘wp-config.php’
   and in empty area, lines 30 – 37 add the following code: define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’,’
   64M’); That’s it the worning with memory limit will desepear forever. If you
   do not have a FTP access use a special plugin for it to access the files in your
   FTP host :

 * Thanks again for the response.
    Aye…sorry, I meant “wp-config” in the last message.
   While doing that does seem to remove the message, my concern is that the site
   is already set to have (in this case) 128MB allocated to PHP memory, yet this
   application/plugin doesn’t understand this and requires to read it from wp-config.
 * Case in point: [http://whiteflamecompany.com/php-info.php](http://whiteflamecompany.com/php-info.php)

   The info is currently not in wp-config, so the plugin reads 40 (not even sure
   where it gets this from as every site on this server is allocated 128MB for PHP
   memory…I know, because I set it).
 * It’s an odd glitch – though it doesn’t seem to affect the running of the plugin,
   only that it would concern the average user who didn’t know better.
 * Cheers!

 * FYI, I just noticed (on another site I mange) that Redux Framework – System Status
   _also_ has this 40MB glitch. Other plugins, like AIO WP Security & Firewall (
   for instance) read the amount of memory allocated correctly (in this case, 256
   MB).

 * Hi,
 * Could you send us please at [support@jigoshop.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/memory-read-error-againstill/support@jigoshop.com?output_format=md)
   a temporary access to the site admin? So we could check it 🙂 also an FTP access
   would be appreciated,
    please note that none of your settings won’t be changed.
   You can delete the access after we have fix it.

 * Thanks for all the input, but at this point I cannot worry about it. As I mentioned,
   it’s a relatively minor glitch that doesn’t affect the operation of the plugin–
   and at this point I simply must move forward.
 * Thanks again. Keep up the good work!
