I am having this same problem. There is no update, save or publish on this screen. I make the changes, but when I try to navigate away from Appearance>Menus, that is when it says there are unsaved changed. any help?

    Hi @ewood

    Thanks for reaching out.

If you’d like to take a quick spin through the WordPress documentation on custom menus then please see: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/.

    To summarise:

    1. Appearance > Menus.
    2. Near the top is a blue link that reads “Create a new menu”.
    3. Enter a name for your menu, add menu items and click the blue Save Menu button bottom right. Be sure to assign a menu location under the Menu Settings headings.
