# Menu Admin

 * I recently updated to 3.3.1 and now the Menu Navigation and Menu Custom Link 
   boxes don’t appear on any themes. What can I do?

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a **fresh** download
   of WordPress.

 * Are you talking about frontend or Backend? If frontend then after changing a 
   theme, you should be sure that whether
    1. If the theme supports Custom Menu 
   2. If the Menus are assigned to the correct menu location or not.
 * If it is Backend, then try to click on Top Right “Screen Options” to see if the“
   Theme Location” and “Custom Link” are checked or not.

 * Thanks, I didn’t notice the options included Theme Location and Custom Link.

 * thanks for your help also. I did try all of your suggestions, but found it to
   be an easy fix.
