• I’m having some trouble with what is probably a very basic function. After I have created my pages, so long as the parent page is set to Main Page (no parent), the page will appear at the top in the menu bar.

The problem I’m having is setting the order in which the pages appear in the menu bar. I thought it might be governed by the ID number, and subsequently the order in which the pages were created, so I tried deleting one then re-creating it. This just put the order back to what it was previously, despite the new ID number.

Could someone please tell me where I’m going wrong?

    Thanks

Thanks for the tip. Apologies for the stupid question, I just haven’t had the time to sit down and read into it, I’ve just figured it out.

Ok, I’ve finally got round to trying this out. I’ve found the code location in header.php and amended the code (in fact I copied and pasted) from the link that was provided above.

I tried something simple, like List Pages by Page Order but all that happened was all my pages (and sub-pages) appeared in a mess across the header. I tried using the Include Pages in List option, and selected only Parent Page IDs, but the same happened.

I’ve tried most of the options on that link above, but they all come up with the same result.

I’m running 1.5.2, so those instructions should work ok, it says they’re for 1.5 and above.

Is something conflicting with my code?
