    Hey guys and gals.

We are trying to add another menu item to our clients website, but as soon as we try, the whole menu breaks, deselects itself as the main navigation and removes some items from the menu.

We’ve already set the PHP memory to 100mb on our server and its still doing this.

We have a development site for our client that we are testing this issue on and its still doing it there. The live site is studio22online.co.za

Do any of you know a possible fix for this issue?

  • Try disabling all plugins and reverting to the TwentyFifteen theme to see if the behavior continues.

    100MB — that’s more than I’ve ever seen a WordPress install need.

Deactivated plugins and activated TwentyFifteen already. It didnt work.

Now the menu is starting to loose Items that were in it all along after saving it.

This is really worrying our client, as its an online shop. Their shop items are the next thing on the Menu and if that disappears, we screwed.

I went through this a couple of years ago. I believe it was the max_input_vars I had to increase to fix it.

I’ve tried that, it still did the same thing. I even tried to make a completely new Menu, its taking even less than the original menu.
