    Hello,

Not sure if it’s the new update that has broken the menu but for some reason now on desktop when you click on the menu it just takes you to the top of the page?

    Hope someone can help.

    Hi,

That one is from the theme you are using. The Menu created by WP Mobile it’s only visible till 1000px. You have a custom CSS that is hiding it above that resolution.

Can you have another look? Let me know if I’m seeing it wrong.
    Thanks

    Hi Rui,

I doubt it would be to do with our sites CSS as the menu was working fine last week but now it does not seem to work.

I’m not sure if this is related to some of the recent plugin updates?

    Best,

It can always be related to the update. First I need to understand where are you clicking.

Can you take screencast the click of the menu button and send me that screencast link?

    Thanks

Sure, you can see in the attached screenshot https://imgur.com/76n1c4h in the bottom left the destination URL when you press on the menu is https://www.information-age.com/# which does nothing but bring you to the top of the page.

Would you say it’s worth trying to go back a version of 2 to see if that fixes it?

but you pressed the hamburger icon above the “News” link? the one in this screenshot

That menu button isn’t from WP Mobile Menu.

Just to let you know in case anyone else has this issue I went back to version 2.7.3 and it works!

@ibrarrkhan Can you reply my question above? I didn0t fully understand where did you clicked. It’s important to determine if there is a problem or not so I can fix it so that you won’t be stuck to an older version.

    Thanks

Correct I clicked on that hamburger icon, but it has to be with the plugin no?

Because now I have gone back to an older version it works.

@ibrarrkhan thanks for explaining because I wasn’t understanding exactly where you were clicking.

Yes, it can be from the plugin. From what I saw now that button takes you to the top of the page and shows that submenu below.

    That’s the expected behaviour?

No worries, and nope you can see what it’s meant to do on our staging site here https://staging.information-age.com/.

So should slide out from the left revealing the menu.

Thanks. So you added the class mobmenu-left-bt to the link so it can open the left panel.

That changed a bit in the latest version that’s why it doesn’t work.

This is how it should be now.

    <a href="#" class="mobmenu-left-bt mobmenu-trigger-action" data-panel-target="mobmenu-left-panel" aria-label="Left Menu Button"><i class="fas fa-bars"></i></a>

Let me know if it worked.
    Thanks

I’m not seeing WP Mobile Menu active on your site. Reply in the new topic.
