# Menu options missing

 * Hello
    I am new to WordPress. I created a site using somebody else’s domain and
   I have now migrated it to my own domain [http://www.flyingphoenix2.com](http://www.flyingphoenix2.com).
   This is hosted by 1&1 Hosting. I installed WordPress in 1&1 Hosting, but the 
   menu options are missing – plugins, appearance etc. What do I need to do to get
   these?

 * If you used the 1&1 installer, I would recommend contacting their support. It’s
   possible your user does not have the capabilities for those menus, but it’s also
   possible they do not show those menus when using their installer. I would check
   with 1&1 first to see if you should have those menu options.
