 * Hi there
 * I’m really new to this so I hope my explanation is adequate.
    Here’s my website
   [http://www.businesscoaching-melbourne.com.au/](http://www.businesscoaching-melbourne.com.au/)
 * My issue is the menu, when clicking on HOME the page goes blank. When I deactivate
   jetpack it works fine. I used the debug tool and it said my site has trouble
   communicating with Jetpack. I have several other themes from different developers
   and they are fine.
 * I hope you can assist.

 * Hi,
 * The issue with the menu is striking to me and I’m not sure what would cause it
   without seeing it occur (it appears to work for me currently).
 * Regarding the connection issue, I’m working with your host (Bluehost, right?)
   to identify a problem I’ve seen with a few other Bluehost users as well (xmlrpc.
   php returning a 406 HTTP status for our servers when trying to communicate with
   your site due to a ModSecurity rule).
 * If you could contact their support asking for further information on what modsecurity
   rule is impacting the /xmlrpc.php?for=jetpack URL on your site, that would be
   greatly appreciated.
 * Cheers!

 * Thanks for the reply Brandon. I’ve put my website into problem mode so you can
   see what I mean. This is really strange. I’ve got other themes hosted with Bluehost
   and they work fine with jetpack. I’ve only had this issue with this theme Bridge
   from Qode. They say there’s nothing wrong with their theme. As I said before
   I don’t have any memory errors appearing.
 * This is from their documentation regarding their theme and jetpack.
 * **Smiley displayed** on blank page – Problem is probably related to JetPack and
   memory settings of your hosting. You can either disable JetPack or read what
   JetPack developer wrote: Regarding the memory limit, please refer to the WordPress
   Codex section concerning this problem. Some sites that load many plugins alongside
   WordPress ultimately require a higher memory limit than WordPress defaults to,
   but since this is limited to specific hosts and configurations, it must be dealt
   with on an individual basis. You’ll find the Codex article at:
    [http://codex.wordpress.org/Common_WordPress_Errors#Allowed_memory_size_exhausted](http://codex.wordpress.org/Common_WordPress_Errors#Allowed_memory_size_exhausted).
 * Any suggestions? Maybe I should do a fresh install of WP and the theme?

 * Thanks and I see what you mean now. I don’t think that the problem is Jetpack
   per se, but the combination of what you have active, based on what the theme
   docs say, have pushed you past the memory limits for your host.
 * Typically, memory allocation issues would be recorded in your PHP error log (
   on Bluehost, typically in /public_html/error_log/ or /public_html/[addon domain]/
   error_log, when accessing your site via FTP or Bluehost’s File Manager (within
   cPanel I believe).
 * That would confirm the issue.
 * Assuming the theme documentation is correct, it isn’t a matter that a fresh install
   would take care of, but that all of the plugins you’re running, in combination,
   are large enough that you’re hitting your server’s maximum memory allowed under
   the current settings.
 * Typically, this is seen by a completely white screen, but with the way your theme
   works, it very well may demonstrate the problem like this.
 * Cheers!
