# Menu Width

 * I am looking to evenly distribute my menu tabs across the top of my site. I would
   like to do this by widening them out. They currently stop short and I am not 
   sure where to edit their width, I’ve been messing around slowly with the style.
   css file. Under the following:
 * /* —— header-menu ———————— */
 * Am I in the correct area?

 * I’ll leave up the edit for a half hour or so…..
    my contact us tab is just stretched
   out and carries over to the next line then…..Thanks, I’m getting closer.

 * Looks OK to me – did you get it fixed? If not, what browser shows it wrong? I
   tried on Firefox and IE8 and both looked good.

 * I took a picture with some notes of what I’m seeing. I checked it on IE8 and 
   Chrome and it is looking the same to me.

 * Alright, I misunderstood what you were saying. Try adding this to the end of 
   style.css:
 * `.menu li { padding: 0 33px; }`
 * Adjust the 33 as necessary.

   same HTML Template). Please help me….!!
