Merge database content between environments before going live

    Hello,

    We have been developing a new version of a website for about 3 months now. We entered new content on the staging version (quite a lot of content) but during this time new users, orders and content were created on the live website. We’re now ready to publish the new website online but don’t know how to “merge” the 2 states of the database together.

    We’re definitely not the first to encounter this problem so hopefully some of you will have insights to help us figure this out.

    Hi @losted. You’re right that this issue is not unique to your site! There is a good discussion of the options here. Some of the tools seem to no longer be in active development, but there are still many options. I hope that helps!
