# Merging WP data

 * Hello everybody,
    is there any easy, stupid-user-safe way to merge two WP-Weblogs
   into one? Actually, just the posts have to be merged, all the categories, user,
   etc.. are almost identical, anyway. Thanks in advance Dominik

 * Okay.. I sort of did it. I exportet everything, using PhpMyAdmin, ran some RegExes
   over the files to remove the ids of the posts, importet them into an empty wp-
   database, did some minor fixes and it works quite fine. Of course, the comments
   are gone this way, but usually the comments on my weblog only consists of “you
   suck” or “go home, fart” so this isn’t too bad..
