    Thanks for using Feature a Page Widget!

    I assume you’re using some type of SEO plugin that creates a meta description field (Yoast, maybe?). Feature a Page Widget uses the default WordPress “Excerpt” field and only works with that out of the box.

    There is an fpw_excerpt filter. Depending on how the plugin made the meta description available, it’s possible that substituting that for the excerpt might be relatively easy, but that writing the code for that is outside the scope of what I can provide here on the free support forums.
