I just installed the SEO framework and removed Rank Math.
    Done all the settings.
Everything is working great except meta description for posts. Already enabled auto meta descriptions.
It’s working on pages but not on posts.

    Am I missing something?

    Hi there!

If you use a ‘premium’ page builder based on shortcodes (Divi, Visual Composer), then TSF cannot process its contents for description generation. If you use the ‘premium’ Oxygen Builder, TSF cannot generate a description either, for Oxygen puts the content in a non-standard database entry.

For everything else, TSF can generate a meta description for you.

Not having a meta description is not an issue: search engines can generate one for you when TSF can’t. They do this by reading your page content and highlighting relevant parts to the search query.

You can always use WordPress’s native quick-edit to enter a description manually, but search engines may ignore that in favor of a generated description. To learn more, see https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/appearance/snippet.
