# Meta Description Missing

 * My website does not display the meta description, even though I have filled in
   the meta description field in the Yoast SEO plugin and also set it specifically
   on the homepage.
 * I have already checked the header.php file, and the <?php wp_head(); ?> function
   is present before the closing </head> tag.
 * I have also tried editing the homepage using Elementor and have attempted all
   possible troubleshooting methods, but the meta description still does not appear.

   to a post or page? You homepage has the following meta description in the source:
