 * HI,
   I’ll contact you for an update proposal (or maybe it’s a function I can’t
   find).It would be convenient to be able to read the metadata of a GPX file, such
   as length, difference in altitude, highest point, lowest point…) and be able
   to view them via a shortcode, so as to be able to integrate them more easily
   into a site, even from the point of graphic and layout view (putting icons before
   or after, inserting them in a table….), or also inserting them in the popup box
   by clicking on a track.I see that under the elevation graph they are already
   reported, so in some way they are read!

 * Hi [@elorigoni](https://wordpress.org/support/users/elorigoni/),
 * Thanks for reaching out and for your suggestion. Yes the Elevation plugin Waymark
   uses reads and displays this data, so it could be used it other locations.
 * Could you provide more specifics of what you are looking for? It sounds like
   you would like a Shortcode that displays not a Map, but a summary of the Line(
   s?) displayed by the Map?
 * One thing that comes mind right away as a possible complication is that the Elevation
   data is calculated for each Line on the Map, not for all Lines. Are you looking
   for something that supports multiple Lines?
 * Interested to hear more thoughts.
 * Cheers,
 * Joe

 * HI,
   sorry for the late reply.what I would be interested in is being able to insert
   the gpx track data into a table or text to describe the route. However, I would
   like to do it using my website layout and be able to easily replicate it on multiple
   pages. So having a shortcode like [Waymark map_id=”990101186″ length=”1″] that
   prints the length of the track would be great. this is for useful data, I’m thinking
   for example of length, positive difference in altitude, maximum altitude, minimum
   altitude…
 * I’m not searching something for multiple lines, but only for one line. Normally
   I have only one line in my map (loaded from gpx).
 * I hope I was more clear

 * Hi [@elorigoni](https://wordpress.org/support/users/elorigoni/),
 * Thanks for the extra detail. I like this idea and will give it some more thought.
 * Cheers,
 * Joe
