It looks like the meta description is showing all the language content at once instead of conditionally showing the content based on the language. Can you please confirm what multilingual plugin you are using that allows you to define content for certain languages like the way you did (i.e. [:en], [:zh])?
Only the “qTranslate-X” plugin.
We are afraid to say that qTranslate-X plugin isn’t compatible with the Yoast SEO plugin as the plugin is no longer maintain by the developer. The last update of the relevant plugin was 4 years before.
So, you’ll need to switch to a different multilingual plugin that is compatible with the Yoast SEO plugin.
Can you recommend the plugins, please?
