Metaslider not advancing

    Hi MatchaLabs,

    Great plugin. I’ve got the free edition working great on a couple of sites. I have a new one in development. I’m using Metaslider 3.3.5 with SiteOrigin PageBuilder v2.2, using child theme of Vantage Premium theme 2.4.2.

    I have a test slider on the home page at http://www.tomgoetschius.dreamhosters.com. The slider has three images. Only one image displays. I’m pretty sure I have the settings correct for a Flexslider.

    Vantage with Pagebuilder has two ways to display the metaslider. One is using a special home page feature. You select a slider, and it shows in the main billboard area.

    The other way is to use a standard metaslider shortcode in a text or editor widget on the page.

    I’ve tried both, and the slider does not automatically advance. It does not show the arrows on the sides. It does show the first slide in the slider.

    Any ideas?

    Hi there,

    It doesn’t look like you have jQuery included in your page.

    If you add jQuery and it’s still not working let us know.

    I installed jquery updater plugin. Nothing different.

    Thanks.

    I disabled all plugins. Activated the jquery updater. Reset the advance timings in the slider. And it started working. Reactivated the plugins, and all is good to go. I think the conflict was with the Yoast SEO “Clean up” plugin.
