# Migrating wordpress build

 * Hello,
 * New wordpress user here. I’m trying to migrate my current wordpress build (www.
   politicalcandidate.org/home) to a new URL (www.citizenscongress.org) and I did
   the export/import tool in the settings menu in the dashboard. While my content
   and pages migrated, my settings did not. Unless there’s a better way, I’m going
   to have to manually reload all my plugins, manually re-edit the HTML that I changed,
   manually re-upload the files I replaced in the FTP. This is a lot of hours of
   work that I’d like to avoid. Any ideas?
