# Migration

 * I am really sorry if this is covered elsewhere. I am very new to wordpress. I
   had originally set up thehungrymanc.com hosted by wordpress. I recently transferred
   the domain and hosting to 123-reg while at the same time purchasing thehungrymanc.
   co.uk (which is now the primary). I have tried to repopulate this new domain 
   with the old content by exporting it as an XML file. When uploaded via the dashboard
   all the previous content seems to be stored in a text (html) file in my media
   folder.
 * How do i repopulate this new spave with the old content?

 * I have tried this but as described this has resulted in the XML file exisiting
   only in the Media folder of my dashboard. It does NOT populate the site as per
   the instructio9ns given to me.

 * That sounds like it could be a hosting issue. Do you get any messages when you
   select the file and then Import?

 * No messages. The import simply goes automatically to the Media Folder

 * I think you need to speak to your hosts about this. It seems that the server 
   is handling .xml files incorrectly.
