 * My apologies for delayed reply.
 * Your issue is most likely caused by modified PHP CLI.
    
You should be able to
   resolve it by disabling the checking step.
 * Please open first section of the plugin named: “What will be backed up?”
    Find
   subsection named: “Exclude by folder / file name (case-sensitive)” Here add these

 * Once you do that, please follow these steps:
    1. Go to “Other options” section
   2. Change backup method: [https://prnt.sc/1s1ofpa](https://prnt.sc/1s1ofpa) 3.
   Disable PHP CLI checking: [https://prnt.sc/1sljr31](https://prnt.sc/1sljr31) 
   4. Save “Other options” section 5. Force stop both processes: [https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm](https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm)
 * When you do that, try to run your backup once again.

 * That made a backup file.
    However, I did restore to a new wordpress installation
   on a different domain name and it said the restore was successful, but when trying
   to access the site either for viewing or wp-admin I get this message: [http://sheffieldcitymission.org.uk/wp-signup.php?new=sheffieldcitymission.org.uk](http://sheffieldcitymission.org.uk/wp-signup.php?new=sheffieldcitymission.org.uk)

       The page isn’t redirecting properly

 * My apologies for delayed reply.
 * I noticed that you use redirect plugin, which most likely was included in backup
   that you restored: “All 404 Redirect to Homepage”.
 * Issue you received may be caused by that plugin or new website does not have 
   properly configured .htaccess file.
 * In first place, I’d recommend you to disable mentioned redirect plugin by moving
   it outside wp-content/plugins directory to e.g. wp-content (temporarily).
 * If the redirection will disappear instead you will receive just error 404, it’s
   highly possible that .htaccess file is missing or configured improperly.
 * If any of above won’t work, please send me your backup file via e-mail:
    [ support(
   at) backupbliss dot com ].
 * I’ll try to restore it on my side in sandboxed environment, which should allow
   me to find the issue and provide you new adjusted backup file that you can restore.

 * While I was not trying this, I forgot to mention that my goal is to migrate my
   web site from a single site WordPress installation to a multi-site one.
    Has 
   BackupMigrate been tested for this transition? Michael

 * My apologies for delayed reply.
 * Currently there is no plugin that would allow you to do perfect duplicate of 
   single WordPress instance into multisite subsite instance.
 * Due to the data structure that is used for multisite installation, it’s quite
   difficult to migrate such data, a lot of tables and files are shared.
 * Our plugin allows you to migrate same environments i.e.: 
   Multisite to Multisite
   Single Site to Single SiteSummarizing that, currently it’s not possible to do
   such thing with our plugin.
